Bring your booze and your homework to new live music/chill spot Wynwood Social Club

Whether you’re in the mood to pre-drink or spend a laid-back evening just shooting the shmutz with friends, there’s a new place for you to nest and fester on Saturday nights.
At the new Wynwood Social Club, you’ll feel like you’re in your much more fashionable friend’s living room – a living room that features live jazz and an eclectic array of furniture, including the grade school desks of your youth and even a barbershop chair. (Bring your camera and practice your best poses.)
As it is a social club and not a bar, this is a byob establishment. Hit up the liquor store before coming by and for $10 WSC will provide the mixers. Enjoy a game of tipsy chess or maybe....(click here to read full article)

BOOZE HOUND
BYOB at Wynwood Social Club

Relax! You aren't going to get in trouble.
Attention flask fanatics and supporters of small, brown, you-don't-need-to-know-my-business paper bags; there's a new BYOB in MIA. The Wynwood Social Club (2501 N.W. 2nd Ave., Miami, across the street from Joey's) doesn't serve the sauce but delves out mixers that range from tonic, sparkling water, soda, and Snapples for free after you pay a $10 entrance fee every Saturday from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The spot is adorned with tin lunch boxes, kitschy chairs-galore (we're talking schoolhouse desk/chair hybrids and one that looks like it sent via a time-machine from a barber's shop in the '70s) and a small stage that serves as a platform for local bands like last Saturday's (click here to read full article at the Booze Hound Blog)

A Wyn-Wyn Situation

A little lesson in recessionomics: Why pay $250 for a bottle of Absolut at a South Beach nightclub when you can pay $27 at your corner liquor store? Miami’s bottle service business model has gotten way out of hand, but it seems only with the recent financial turmoil that we’ve realized the absurdity of the practice. So it was only a matter of time before somebody would reinvent bottle service to become a DIY kind of enterprise. And at Wynwood Social Club, BYOB doesn’t mean “bring your own bucks.” Outside, bottles and flasks are welcome, and a measly cover charge — five bucks before 9 p.m., ten dollars after — (click here to read full article at the Miami New Times)

You Wyn Again
Wynwood Social Club Opens

When we last checked in with Wynwood, Joey's had opened, paving the way for a renaissance of the seedy gallery district.

And while we wouldn't call its latest addition—a club without its own bar—the pinnacle of nightlife, we do think it's something you'll definitely want to check out.

So say what's up to Wynwood Social Club, a new hang that feels like your grandmother's living room if she had a taste for thrift stores and pop art, now open.

Occupying the sectioned-off front of a massive warehouse, Wynwood Social Club is.........(click here to read full article at urbandaddy.com)
